Alice Whitten served as a Chapter 13 Trustee for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, from October 1, 2009 until early 2013. Alice currently is Senior Counsel for Wells Fargo supporting the bankruptcy operations groups across all business units. Alice graduated in 1992 from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Business with a B.S. degree in finance with accounting and political science minors. She also graduated with honors from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio in 1995. Alice was previously associated with several Texas firms, including Cantey & Hanger, LLP, and Forshey & Prostok, LLP. In July 2001, she joined Fort Worth based AmeriCredit Financial Services, Inc., where she held the role of Senior Vice President - Special Accounts and Senior Vice President - Associate General Counsel. Alice was a master in the John C. Ford American Inn of Court and currently serves on both the Mortgage and Non-Mortgage Liaison Committee for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees. Alice is also a Special Advisor on the Bankruptcy Law Section Board for the State Bar of Texas.
